Introduction

In this article, you'll learn how to create and set up a Comment on this Facebook post mission. Ideal for a giveaway or a product launch, it asks your customers to comment on a specific post from your Facebook page. In return, they earn points as soon as their comment is verified.

Create the mission

Go to the Missions section, click Create a mission, then under the Engagement Missions tab, select Comment on this Facebook post.

⚠️ First connect your page from Integrations > Facebook. See the guide Facebook integration: connect your page and your customers' accounts.

Set up the mission

After clicking Create, you set up the mission in two tabs. A preview on the right shows you in real time what your customers will see.

1. Configuration

  • Mission title: prefilled, to customize (50 characters max).

  • Points to earn: 50 points by default. Adjust them to the effort required. See Optimize your points/rewards ratio.

  • Description (optional): explain what you expect from the comment (answer a question, give their opinion on a product…).

  • Post link: paste the URL of the post from your Facebook page that customers should comment on.

2. Advanced settings

  • Icon: Facebook logo by default, Custom Icon (90×90) or Custom Image.

  • How it works: a prefilled text explains the steps to your customers. You can customize it.

  • Targeting: Open to all, or Apply to a list or a level (VIP tier).

Then click Draft to keep the mission as a draft, or Activate to publish it.

Mission verification

To complete the mission, your customer:

  1. Clicks Go to the post: your Facebook post opens, and they comment on it.

  2. Comes back to the mission and clicks Validate the mission.

The comment is then automatically verified through the customer's connected Facebook account. Their points are credited as soon as the comment is confirmed. Your customer doesn't need to provide a screenshot or a link.

⚠️ If no comment is found on the post, the mission is not validated and the customer is notified with a message.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ask my customers to tag friends in their comment?
No. Tagging friends cannot be verified on Facebook, so this option isn't available.

Why hasn't a customer's mission been validated?
Check that the customer commented on the post specified in the mission and that their Facebook account is connected to your program.

If the issue persists, contact our support team via the chat.
